Jonty Harrison at 70
Event Details
In celebration of his 70th birthday, City presents a programme of music by composer Jonty Harrison, an inspirational and internationally acclaimed figure in electroacoustic music.
This is a rare opportunity to hear Harrison’s work diffused on an array of loudspeakers, in City’s Performance Space. The programme comprises works from a 40-year period, beginning with Klang from 1982, through to very recent work. The concert also includes a classic work by Harrison’s colleague (and City Professor Emeritus) Denis Smalley: 1974’s Pentes.
