Paul Bristow

Paul Bristow joined Arts Council England in 2012 as Director, Strategic Partnerships, where he works on policy relating to culture and localism, place and the economy.  Prior to this he was Head of Policy at the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (MLA). Whilst at MLA he led a number of change programmes for public libraries, and also Living Places, a multi-agency programme putting culture at the heart of plans for regeneration and growth across England.  Although the last decade has seen him working in national cultural agencies, his career began in local government with roles in the London boroughs of Wandsworth and Bexley.
