Contemporary Other is a presentation of works across film, installation, performance, cabaret, body art, digital interventions, immersive sensory worlds, and other indefinable and multidisciplinary forms of contemporary performance.
Our spectrum of artists invites you to encounter works exploring themes of identity, belonging, communication and connection; play, power and rest; the body and its entanglements with the environment; Blackness, Whiteness, queerness, gender, personhood – and more.
Contemporary Other will be the final showcase for the Performance Arts, BA class of 2023, and a debut of the practices they hope to continue developing across their artistic careers.
