‘LOVE THIS F***ING WAR!!!!’
It’s 2080. War has been raging for twenty years and the landmass once known as Europe is now The Grid. Lost within that grid, in a deserted ice-cream van, sits a young girl who’s known nothing but war all her life. This is Brecht’s famous war-epic told through the eyes of Kattrin, Mother Courage’s silent daughter and most desperate observer.
Every decision Mother Courage needs to take, brings out a different version of herself. In this never-ending cycle of war, between drone attacks, rave parties and relentless battle over resources – who will prevail, the opportunist or the protector? And what price will Mother Courage and her children pay?
