Event Details
Following on from the conferences on Critical Autism Studies (CAS) that were held at LSBU in 2017, 2018 and 2019, the Participatory Autism Research Collective, in partnership with the Critical Autism and Disabilities Studies Research Group at LSBU, are delivering this free online conference open to anyone with an interest in this area.
We are still working on the programme but as in previous events, this conference will explore a range of topics such as…
- Participatory and emancipatory research
- Theoretical and conceptual understandings of autism and autistic ways of being
- Critical evaluations of support strategies
- Interventions and public policy
- Research methodologies and ethics
- Cultural representations of autism
We aim to provide an environment for autistic researchers to present their work relating to critical autism studies.
