7th February, 2014 / 11.00am - 4.00pm
21st January, 2020
The Translational Research Office (TRO) invite you to celebrate the activities of the UCL/Wellcome Trust Translational Partnership Award.
The launch event will see us announcing the initiatives surrounding our Therapeutic Innovation Networks (TINs), where you will be the first to know about funding calls, workshops and training for 2020.
We are excited to announce that the afternoon will include a motivational opening address from Baroness Eliza Manningham-Buller, previous Director General of MI5 and since 2015, Chair of the Wellcome Trust. You will also hear a number of inspirational translational case studies from Wellcome-funded researchers across the university and at various stages of their careers.
Following the event, there will be an opportunity for networking and to become familiar with the support available for translation at UCL.
Looking forward @JS_Diaspora opening a discussion with stimulus from award winning film #MyNameIs @mynameisdocu on 'Decolonising the self before we can decolonise HE & culture' @RADA_London via @InfoTCCE tomorrow as part of a broader event from 1pm to 3pm.
