Let The Right One In is a chilling coming-of-age love story, set in a bleak housing estate in the 1980s, where a series of bloody murders has terrorised the neighbourhood.

Oskar is a bullied, lonely boy living with his alcoholic mother. When the androgynous and charismatic Eli moves in next door, he senses a kindred spirit and they become close friends. However the child-like Eli carries a centuries old secret which will test their relationship to the limit. The play is visceral yet tender, exploring the sexuality and loneliness of the outcast teenager.

It was first performed by the National Theatre of Scotland in 2013.

Director Angie Langfield
Stage adaptation by Jack Thorne
Based on the Swedish novel & film
by John Ajvide Lindqvist

By arrangement with Marla Rubin Productions Ltd.
