Andrew Bovell’s multi award-winning play When The Rain Stops Falling is a heartrending drama about family, betrayal and forgiveness, spanning four generations and two hemispheres.
Its characters are weighed down by fragments of their past that metastasize across generations to resurface with unsettling inevitability. As intimate as it is apocalyptic. A piece-by-piece puzzle from the claustrophobia of a London flat in 1959 to the windswept coast of southern Australia, and into the heart of the Australian desert in 2039.
