This seminar focuses on the value of dialogue across television, industry, academia, and audiences in enhancing understanding of engagement and disengagement in screen culture.
Professor Annette Hill reflects on how media researchers and producers can work together to develop an understanding of engagement and disengagement with screen culture. The ‘Media Experiences’ project conducted production and audience research in several European countries from 2014-2016, notably with Endemol Shine.
