First World War Centenary Production
Event Details
This project is a collaboration between LCM students and SpiralArts Dance Theatre Company, exploring the role of the women in the First World War, their role at home and abroad, the work they undertook and their writing and poetry.
Initial research and workshops were carried out in 2014 and now the ideas have been revisited and developed as a movement piece. Incorporated into this will be the inclusion of Patricia Evans (LCM Alumni Composer) choral work, ‘Trilogy’, or ‘Reflections of War,’ using text from World War One poets.
