Inspired by Animal Farm, this inside-out version of literature’s most famous political fairy-tale meets Occupy in a contemporary bespoke reworking for LSBU. A.F. Ltd. mixes political urgency with Motown and pop hits – and will leave you in no doubt about the anti-revolutionary potential of avocado on toast.
Rachel Briscoe is creative director of fanSHEN; recent work includes: Lists for the End of the World (awarded Live Lab bursary 2016) and Invisible Treasure (winner, Tipping Point Award). She is a director, writer, producer and maker of playful experiences in unorthodox locations. For five years to the end of 2015, she was director of theatre (jobshare) at Ovalhouse.
