If Brexit means Brexit, what does this mean for the City of London and the UK? Join us to discuss the challenging questions we all have about the outcomes and effects of leaving the EU.

The European Union is the UK’s largest trade partner. Around half of the UK’s trade is with the EU. Can we expect this to continue? What will be the consequences for the ordinary UK citizen? What of the financial sector in the City of London? What impact will Brexit have on this wealth generating sector of the economy? After Brexit, will the UK obtain better trade deals with non-EU countries? What of immigration? Will we see lower mobility between the UK and the rest of Europe? What impact will this have on you as an individual, and for businesses in the UK?

LSBU’s School of Business welcomes you to a debate on 28 November, where Ian Harris (Director of Z/Yen Group Limited, specialist in planning and systematic performance improvement) and Dr Linda Yueh (Professor of Economics, TV and radio presenter) will tackle these questions and many more. There will be an opportunity to make points and ask questions from the floor.

The event will be followed by a drinks and nibbles.
