The Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs (IOEE) in partnership with its Centre of Excellence network are holding a Best Practice workshop exploring the role of universities in supporting local small and medium businesses, and in turn how this support can develop and nurture enterprising students. The event will present four innovative and pioneering programmes delivered by the following IOEE Centres of Excellence:
- London South Bank University
- University of South Wales
- University of Worcester
- Manchester Metropolitan University.
The innovative approaches to each programme will be examined along with the wider impact on;
- support to local businesses
- perception of the university within the local community
- student recruitment
- student employability
- curriculum development.
