On a remote farm estate in Wales over a hundred years ago, the quiet domestic routine of the Davies family is dislocated by the arrival of a pair of glamorous and distinguished relatives from London.
People continue to eat, drink, work, chatter, yet all the while their happiness is being created, or their lives are being torn apart, in these scenes from country life.
