Barbican Guildhall Creative Learning presents Curious, an annual showcase of new work produced by students, graduates and professional artists from the Guildhall School and design students from Central Saint Martins.
Taking place over four days at the Rose Lipman Building in Hackney, the showcase presents work that responds to contemporary life – from the realities and beauty of the everyday to the political issues of the moment.
Responding to these ideas, participating musicians and artists present an eclectic range of cross-arts work, including performance installations, new experimental and improvised music, spoken word, discussions and a day exploring participatory processes. Special guest artists include Liam Byrne, Tom Challenger, Kit Downes, Tim Steiner and David Toop.
