Female Graphic Designers: this exhibition will showcase graphics produced by CSM female alumni and staff over the past century with the aim to present visual communication as both an accessible subject and an area of intellectual enquiry by showing research projects alongside client-commissioned work.
The designers on show have made their mark in not just the graphic design world, but across all disciplines of art and design, demonstrating the diversity and endless possibilities of careers in this field.
Why women? Gender representation in both the historical and contemporary graphic arena does not reflect the large numbers of women studying the subject, or the contribution women have made to the discipline. This exhibition aims to be part of the growing movement that is redressing this.
Mad about metrics? Care about #KEF? In our workshop on 26th May, we'll be thinking about how to report social value & non-economic impact in the next iteration. Join us as we respond to the recent KEF review by @ResEngland. Link - eventbrite.co.uk/e/workshoppi…
