We would like to invite TCCE member academics to submit proposals for Inside Out Festival 2015.
TCCE’s Inside Out Festival, now in its 6th year, is a week-long, London-wide festival and will take place during the week of 19th October 2015.
The aim of this highly diverse, cross-disciplinary and very successful festival is to showcase the enormous contribution that TCCE member institutions make to the public life of the capital.
The festival is a great opportunity for the academic body, from world renowned professors to early career researchers, to engage in new conversations and formats and to develop innovative approaches to engaging their research beyond the confines of the academic community. Furthermore, it is an opportunity to be part of a large scale initiative that successfully attracts substantial media coverage.
Previous cultural partners have included: Tate Britain, The October Gallery, ICA, National Portrait Gallery, British Academy, Somerset House, The Museum of Brands, Palgrave Macmillan, Freud Museum London and the RSA.
Details on the last Inside Out Festival can be found here.
If you are a TCCE member academic and would like to be involved in the festival as a mode for showcasing your research to the wider public in ways that may not be feasible under normal academic constraints or are interested in developing and producing collaborative activities with artists or arts organisations, then please do get in touch and we will send you an application form.
