Career opportunity: Digital Producer at Royal Holloway

Applications are invited for the 0.5 post of DIGITAL PRODUCER in the Royal Holloway Media Arts Department, to work on the European Research Council ADAPT project.

The ADAPT project (http://www.adapttvhistory.org.uk/) will film several ‘simulations’ of typical television production and post-production working practices since 1960. These will reunite the production personnel of the time with the equipment they worked with, inviting them to demonstrate how the machinery worked and how they worked together. The post-holder will take charge of the planning, execution, editing, archiving and dissemination of this footage.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with TV production experience, including if possible the execution of multi-camera projects. It will suit a TV professional who wishes to develop a career in academic research and teaching.
