Neil Maiden is Professor of Systems Engineering at City University London. He is, and has been, a principal and co-investigator on numerous EPSRC and EU-funded research projects with a total value of over £3million. He has published over 150 peer-reviewed papers in academic journals, conferences and workshops proceedings, and was Editor of the IEEE Software’s Requirements column from 2005 to 2013. Since 2008 he has been researching and teaching in creativity in design. As well as developing mobile creativity support apps to improve social care and emergency crisis management, as well as embedding creativity techniques in engineering projects, he has co-led City’s Centre for Creativity in Professional Practice, and its Masters in Innovation, Creativity and Leadership.
