Central Saint Martins is delighted to host the 8th International Conference on Design and Emotion from the 11th – 14th September 2012 at its King’s Cross building. The conference will focus on design and user experiences from across different sectors. The conference will be attended by over 300 international academics, industry practitioners, researchers and students across different industry sectors.

While Design & Emotion is the overarching focus of the conference – allowing us to consider all aspects of the relationship between human experience and design understood in its widest senses–the theme this year is “Out of Control”.

The content will include over 110 academics papers, case studies and posters being presented, over a dozen workshops and about 6-8 keynote speakers from industry and academia.
