The Institute for Work Based Learning in partnership with The Higher Education Academy and UK Council for Graduate Education are inviting all decision makers and opinion leaders across all sectors to participate in a day of knowledge exchange with universities.

A growing number of individuals seek acknowledgement of the role of doctorates in career development in professions other than research or teaching in higher education.

The aim of the day is to talk about creating the conditions within organisations and communities for creative knowledge that is grounded in practice. The day seeks to develop the dialogue between the HE sector and stakeholders about professional doctorates opening up greater possibilities for collaborative ways of working. It would be especially relevant for individuals in organisations and industry bodies with a keen interest in higher level learning.
