The next London Women and Planning Forum seminar will be on ‘New Localism: what’s the role for women?’

The seminar is a joint event and the Centre for Sustainable Communities, University of Hertfordshire (see attached flyer).

– Alina Congreve (University of Hertfordshire) Introduction
– Sophie Christopher-Bowes (Eco Architecture Planning and Permacultural Planning) – ‘Why do we need more women in architecture and planning? The important role of women in shaping the New Localism Bill’
–  Karen Moore (Women’s Resource Centre)- ‘New Localism agenda: challenges and opportunities for women’s voluntary organisations’
– Georgia Wrighton – ‘Women’s involvement in planning under Localism: reality or rhetoric?’
