The London Centre for Arts and Cultural Exchange produced an information event for Arts Council England designed to provide knowledge around working with Higher Education (HE) to ACE Art Form Officers. Throughout present and continual belt tightening, regularly funded organisations (RFOs) look to form more partnerships, and find substitute sources of funding. Working with Higher Education cultivates new possibilities for RFOs, and allows access to alternative relevant resources. The day long event presented possibilities that exist for regularly funded organisations to work collaboratively with Higher Education, including how to access money. The idea exchange had an expert range of speakers from across academia and the arts who supplied knowledge to ACE officers, ultimately allowing them to disseminate information about existing opportunities to clients.
