Considerable debate and discussion surround producing alternative non-economic ways of measuring impacts of work, including social and cultural, in both higher education and the arts.  In an attempt to bring together professionals interested in this, The London Centre for Arts and Cultural Exchange hosted a small and informal roundtable exploring issues around the diverse impacts of knowledge exchange and other research activity in the arts and cultural sectors. The outcomes of an extensive LCACE collaborative study which investigated the Impacts of knowledge exchange in the sectors were presented. The discourse event provided the opportunity to debate and discuss emerging models and research, as well as encouraged reflection on future work that could influence both evaluation and policy surrounding impact. Following the roundtable discussion, refreshments were served and there was an opportunity for contributors and attendees to network.
