Join us for this artist talk with Kimathi Donkor, chaired by Mark Miller (Convenor Young People’s Programme, Tate), Lindsay Johns (writer and broadcaster) and Emily Druiff (Director of Peckham Space). This talk will look at the development of the current exhibition at Peckham Space ‘Daddy, I want to be a black artist!’ and themes around the work relating to the image and representation in the media, as well as how young people are engaging with these debates critically.
This event is a CCW Graduate School Public Research Platform in collaboration with
Peckham Space.
