At some point most of us have looked in the mirror and not been happy with what we have seen.
‘Feeling fat’ is a common experience which is easily recognised but poorly understood. It is also one of the key drivers of symptomatic dietary restriction and compensatory behaviours in eating disorders.
This talk will review our current understanding of the phenomenon, including its proposed causes and attempts to find ways of addressing it.
