The Mifune Tsuji Trio – Mifune Tsuji on violin, Jin Theriault on saxophone, and Paul Jackson on piano – present a programme of original music and transcriptions reflecting the theme of Refracted Sound.

The concert includes ‘Dumka’, by the British-American composer Rebecca Clarke, ‘Brilliant Bursts of Climacteric Splendor’ by the trio’s pianist, Paul Jackson, and Maurice Ravel’s beautifully-crafted and shimmering ‘Piano Trio’. A regular contributor to the Cambridge Festival, the Mifune Trio presents thrillingly colourful and virtuosic performances that continue to delight and astonish audiences.
