Based in America, John and Jen is a look into a sibling relationship taking place throughout 1950s-1990. A main theme is the juxtaposition between the two in their young adult years, John joining the army and Jen exploring the flower power revolution. This Act looks at how these characters get to this point, drifting apart and resulting in John’s death while serving in the military.
Act 2 follows Jen as she raises her son, John. Trying her best to make up for her mistakes with her brother, Jen becomes overly protective and this results in damaging this relationship.
