In this mini-festival we plan to create spaces to encourage wider discussion and engagement around the diverse, complex and rich set of potentials and possibilities that the theme of Women Walking affords.
Alongside history, society & culture, wellbeing and performance, we encourage ideas from researchers and practitioners with interests in the following areas or in related themes: Histories of women’s walking; Urban / rural walking; Walking, wilderness and nature; Walking as an act of escape/and or survival; Walking as a creative and/or research activity; Walking as a cultural or political act; Walking and friendship.
Please send a short paragraph outlining your idea for contribution to Gemma Outen (gemma@tcce.co.uk) by 8th December in the first instance.
