International Women’s Day

At the University of West London, we join women from around the world in an act of solidarity voicing our activism through sharing stories about our research, about our lives and experiences and about what type of support and action we would like to bring about in our communities.
This is a time to stand together with a common goal and to learn about each other’s lives.
- 12 noon Welcome and introductions with Kitrina Douglas
- 12.10 pm Conversation 1: What have you learned from conducting research with women, or what do your experiences tell us about women’s lives, and what needs to change?
- 12.30 pm Feedback to the main group
- 12.50 pm Conversation 2: What is the biggest challenge you face and how have you responded to sexism?
- 1.15 pm Feedback to the main group
- 1.45 pm Summary and where next. We will look at plans for 2022.
