Head of Knowledge Exchange and Partnerships

The South London Partnership boroughs of Croydon, Kingston, Merton, Richmond and Sutton are leading in the development of a new partnership with local Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and business partners, to deliver innovative business support and develop routes into more intensive collaboration between entrepreneurs and academia; helping local businesses grow, creating new businesses, new products and new jobs.

This exciting new post will head up the programme and be responsible for developing a dynamic and innovative SME and University partnership, to stimulate knowledge-based growth and improve productivity across the South London Partnership boroughs.

The post holder will have experience of forging and managing multi stakeholder collaborations, with exceptional communications skills and the ability to interpret the needs of businesses and matching these to innovative academic expertise.

Through this partnership, the post holder will secure the delivery of a programme of knowledge exchange, as well as identifying and securing additional funding to extend the programme and enhance the opportunities for our businesses and university partners.

In return, we can offer you working arrangements that will enhance your work-life balance.  These include Compressed hours, home working (dependent on service need), annualised hours, and a generous holiday allowance of 31 days plus bank holidays.

In addition, we offer a range of staff benefits such as membership of the Local Government contributory pension scheme, childcare vouchers, new technology scheme, interest-free loans on annual travel cards, discounts at many leisure activities, restaurants, shops and other establishments. A wide range of developmental opportunities is also offered.
