For the past 18 years Collaborations has been a landmark of London Contemporary Dance School’s performance calendar in the theatre.

These evenings showcase the culmination of three parallel projects in which students from London Contemporary Dance School are paired with either designers from Wimbledon College of Arts, composers from Guildhall School  or Moving Image students from Central Saint Martins.

The pieces that emerge are a bold and imaginative mix of ideas. The design work ranges from large scale constructions to innovative uses of the theatre itself; the music compositions are an assortment of live ensembles and electronic scores; whilst the moving image collaborations investigate the relationship between the body, camera and movement resulting in intriguing works for single screen.
