Celebrating the publication earlier this year of Kaikhosru Sorabji’s Letters to Philip Heseltine (Peter Warlock), ed. Brian Inglis and Barry Smith (Routledge, 2019), a programme of music, letter readings and an introductory talk.
Pianist Gabriel Keen will give a rare performance of Sorabji’s virtuosic Sonata No. 1, while Middlesex University students will explore the much-loved music of Peter Warlock. Brian Inglis will introduce and contextualise the music amid readings from the Sorabji-Warlock correspondence.
