GuildhallSchool Red

Guildhall School is delighted to announce that Brodie Ross has been named Head of Acting.

Brodie Ross has been covering the Head of Acting role on an interim basis for the last 10 months, and is a distinguished actor whose career includes performances in the West End, at Shakespeare’s Globe, the RSC, Almeida Theatre, Manchester Royal Exchange and Sheffield Theatres.

Orla O’Loughlin, Vice-Principal & Director of Drama, said:

I’m delighted that we’ve appointed Brodie to this role. During his time as Interim Head of Acting he has already driven a number of key initiatives, particularly in the areas of widening participation and representation.

Brodie’s extensive industry contacts and excellent working knowledge of both stage and screen will ensure a dynamic connection between the Acting programme and the rapidly evolving creative industries; and I am confident that he will drive progress further forward within the Acting programme, whilst also working hard to preserve and champion the unique ethos that sits at the heart of our world-renowned actor training.
