Over the last number of years TCCE has often brought the network together to share information, experience and know-how and to facilitate support and discussion around the subject of the Research Excellence Framework and, in particular, the role of Impact within REF.

In this information workshop, David Sweeney (Executive Chair, Research England) joins us to give an overview of the three elements of REF 2021, with a particular emphasis on developments in the Impact agenda including the implications of the increase in weighting from 20% to 25% in the upcoming REF.

We are delighted that we will be joined by Professor Margot Finn, University College London, Deputy Chair of the History sub-panel from Panel D, Dr Nicholas Lambert, Ravensbourne University London, Professor Susanne Kuechler, University College London and Professor Carole-Anne Upton, Middlesex University London who will respond to David, outlining their views on the challenges and opportunities presented. This will be followed by open questions and discussion.
