Funded by the National Lottery, the focus of the programme is to increase the number and diversity of people experiencing the Arts Council Collection in England and to support organisational development in regional art galleries.

By working in partnership with the Collection team at Southbank Centre and Longside Gallery, based at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, the partners will produce innovative exhibitions of the highest quality and reach new audiences through engagement activity.

The Arts Council Collection is the most widely circulated national loan collection of modern and contemporary British art in the world. The collection plays a valuable role in supporting galleries round the country through loans, touring exhibitions and curatorial skills.

Applications to join the network are through a two stage process via an Expression of Interest, and successful applicants will be then invited to make a full application. £550,000 can be applied for and the deadline to submit an Expression of Interest is Tuesday 13 November 2018.
