Fresh new sounds from City’s legendary Sound Studios: electronica, sonic art and audio-visual work, performed on an immersive multi-channel array of loudspeakers. Includes premieres of new works created by City composers and sound artists. Full programme TBA.

City has held a strong reputation for innovation and exploration in the field of electronic music since the establishment its studios in 1975. Since then, the studios have producing generations of leading composers and researchers in these fields.

Pre-concert event:

6pm: Join us for the opening of a new, permanent audio-visual installation artwork in the Department of Music, devised by Walls on Walls, a project facilitated by artist Laurie Nouchka and Dr. Tullis Rennie, taking inspiration from the rich history and current activities of the City music community. Read information about the work in progress here.
