London College of Music are recruiting Classical Singers

London College of Music are auditioning for Classical Singers to join BMus (Hons) Music Performance for September 2018.

This dynamic course at University of West London aims at developing professions with practical masterclasses, a suite of supporting modules and outstanding one-to-one teaching from specialists.

Auditions, workshops and consultation interviews will be held on Saturday 26th May 2018. Candidates will be expected to attend the whole day from 10:00 AM until 3:30 PM.

Candidates must prepare two classical pieces to perform, one of which must be performed from memory. Candidates may choose to sing an Italian aria (e.g. an aria antiche) and either a French, English or German art song, or any combination in a language of their choice. (An accompanist will be provided on the day).

Entry qualifications: pass or expected pass in Grade 5 music theory or general musicianship, A Level Music or Grade 8 music theory or general musicianship.

Candidates who successfully audition and join London College of Music in September 2018 will also have the opportunity to join our Choral Ensemble which results in a tuition fee bursary. The ensemble will provide students the opportunity to rehearse and prepare for a schedule of public performances as well as produce solo and small choral ensemble works.

To audition for the BMus (Hons) Music Performance, there is a £25.00 audition fee (non-refundable). It important to note that no audition date will be confirmed without an audition fee.

We anticipate a high demand for places, so be sure to book your audition as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
