CUEE (City, University of London Experimental Ensemble) are a wide-ranging, free-wheeling large ensemble of young improvisers and experimental musicians, led by Tullis Rennie.
For their return to IKLECTIK (following a capacity audience event last year), they are delighted to welcome saxophonist and improvisor Sam Andreae as their special guest. They will perform a number of improvisations based around his graphic score approaches for collaboration. The concert will also include a performance based on John Zorn’s infamous game piece COBRA.
CUEE have preiously worked with Cath Roberts for a headline set at IKLECTIK, with composer Michael Finnissy for an event marking his 70th birthday, and have performed the work of Pauline Oliveros with Seth Cluett.
