Most commentators on the Future of Work agree that we will be increasingly shifting away from working in organisational silos to working in open collaborative networks.

Universities are leading the way as larger research projects require the collaboration and formation of hubs with  a variety of third parties working across organisations of different sizes.

This requires the development of new skills to shape and navigate this new landscape. But a lot of people understandably don’t like networking. This is often because they’ve had negative experiences with superficial “networking events”.

During this workshop we hope to help you reframe what networking collaboratively means and understand why it is becoming increasingly essential. We will also help you to develop and practice skills to do it authentically and with confidence.

The workshop will involve a combination of lecture, case studies and practical exercises.  As always, we promise this won’t hurt.
