The Promotional Cultures Research Group is pleased to invite you to a mini-conference where Dr Alessandro Caliandro (Middlesex University) and Dr Alessandro Gandini (King’s College London) will present their book Qualitative Research in Digital Environments (Routledge 2017).
The book aims at providing both researchers and students who want to study social media environments (blogs, online forums, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube etc.) some basic concepts and techniques that can be used to detect, collect, organise, analyse and interpret digital data.. These techniques are transferable across a variety of disciplines, from marketing, advertising and PR to social sciences and digital culture.
Middlesex University’s Dr Maja Simunjak and Dr Chamil Rathnayake will join the authors in presenting two research projects currently developed by the Promotional Cultures Research Group, demonstrating the practical applications of digital social research methods as well as highlighting further opportunities for potential collaborations among members of staff and students on digital research projects.
