With over 110 speakers confirmed from more than 60 different institutions across 19 different countries, the 5th International Reflective Conservatoire Conference uniquely brings together leading performers, teachers and researchers from all over the world.
The theme ‘Artists as Citizens’ for 2018 could not be more prescient. It will ask questions about the nature of artistic citizenship, how it is embodied in new artistic practices, what it means for organisational development and leadership, nurturing our students as artist-citizens and maintaining and enhancing quality and impact. The Reflective Conservatoire Conference will continue its tradition of creative programming with a rich mix of participatory workshops, performances, presentations and networking.
The 5th international Reflective Conservatoire Conference, ‘Artists as Citizens’, will take place in London at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and the Barbican Centre from Tuesday 20 February to Friday 23 February 2018.
