Barbican Guildhall Creative Learning presents Curious, an annual showcase of new work created by students, graduates and guest artists from the Guildhall School in collaboration with visual artists and communication designers from Central Saint Martins, UAL. Guest artists include acclaimed Palestinian singer, songwriter and composer Kamilya Jubran and percussionist and Guildhall alumna Bex Burch.

Curious is a celebration of experimentation, pushing boundaries and collaborative working across art forms; encouraging the sharing of ideas between emerging and practising artists. Curious presents work that responds to contemporary life – from the realities and beauty of the everyday to the political issues of the moment.

Taking place across four days in the Barbican Exhibition Halls, this year’s showcase includes a mix of performance installations, experimental and improvised music, spoken word performance, discussions and a day exploring and sharing participatory processes.
