From innovative new commissions to some of the finest classical scores ever written, Sound Unbound takes over the Barbican Centre to showcase music at its forward-thinking best.
Guildhall musicians appear throughout the weekend – highlights include percussionists performing Timber by Michael Gordon, Andrew Marriner directing Strauss’ Symphony for Wind Instruments ‘The Happy Workshop’, performances from electronic musicians, and Guildhall and LSO players with works by Tchaikovsky and Arvo Pärt.
