Being Human Festival Call for Applications

BA

Being Human, the UK’s only national festival of the humanities, led by the School of Advanced Study, University of London in partnership with the Arts & Humanities Research Council and the British Academy, is inviting applications from across the country for funding.

This year, the festival will return between 17-25 November with a new theme, ‘Lost and Found’. Applicants are invited to respond creatively and in ways that probe the rich intellectual possibilities of the theme.

Funding call

There are three pathways for getting involved in the festival.

We offer funding under our small grants and hub award pathways, but are also very open to proposals for unfunded activities that do not require a direct financial contribution from Being Human.

The deadline for funded applications is 5pm Monday 10 April
The deadline for unfunded applications is 5pm Thursday 13 June
