The Spanish, Portuguese & Latin American Studies (SPLAS) Department at King´s are delighted to bring you an adaptation of Fuenteovejuna, a play by one of the most influential dramatists of the Spanish Golden Age period, Lope de Vega, based on an uprising in the town of Fuenteovejuna.
The version will explore different relationships in our society today, the abuse of power and the importance of uniting in moments of uncertainty.
The play will be performed in Portuguese, Spanish, Catalan and English with live music, all put together by students.
