A series of free poetry readings taking place in the atmospheric venue of Gilbert Scott’s Gothic chapel at King’s, highlighting the power of poetry to connect across boundaries and disciplines. Chaired and introduced by Ruth Padel, Reader in Poetry in the Department of English.
Reading and discussion: Mark Oakley, Chancellor of St Paul’s, with The Splash of Words: Believing in Poetry, and Ruth Padel with Tidings: A Christmas Journey.
The series is discussed and recorded on the King’s poetry website Wild Court edited by Declan Ryan.
