Hear James Soane, architect, writer, teacher and co-founder of Project Orange, talk about his career, motivation and architectural principles in the first of a series of lectures at LSBU

This is the first of our series of open lectures, which will see a diverse range of architects talk about their work, influences and motivations. It is an opportunity for everyone interested in architecture to hear from architects involved with projects (built and unbuilt) of many different types and scales and executed over the last 5-50 years.

James Soane
James Soane is a qualified architect, teacher and writer having studied at Cambridge and the Bartlett graduating with distinction. He set up Project Orange with Christopher Ash and joined full-time in 2001 having been a director of Sir Terence Conran’s design company where he worked on a number of high profile projects including the Great Eastern Hotel in London, Ark Hills in Tokyo, Bridge Market in New York and Das Triest hotel in Vienna.
