Mike Bartlett’s Earthquakes In London is, simply, the story of a family. Bartlett’s three sisters, Freya, Jasmine and Sarah are very different people, but each in her own way a product of our time. Their stories, individually and collectively, illustrate the world we all share for a time and how we treat it and each other.
Spanning generations, this epic story is part myth, part parable, part cautionary tale, under an umbrella of magical realism and delivered via roller coaster.
