Join Guildhall students and professors as the Milton Court Studio Theatre is transformed into a jazz club for this two-day showcase. During the day, students showcase their work in small ensembles – expect a diverse range of music covering the history and stylistic breadth of jazz as it stands in the 21st century. The evenings bring performances from celebrated artists Bobo Stenson and Martin Speake, and Iain Ballamy’s Anorak quartet.

Iain Ballamy’s critically-acclaimed band Anorak perform at the School to celebrate each member’s appointment to the jazz faculty. While bassist Steve Watts has long been an integral part of the department, pianist Gareth Williams and drummer Martin France are joined by Iain Ballamy in their recent professorships.
